September Again?

Posted by Jennifer Labrum on November 15, 2009

Yes, it's true. It's September again. Well, let's just pretend it is because I can't pass up posting these pictures, and they're from September. Once they're posted, we'll fly through October and be right where we should be in November. No harm done, right?

One of the games Ella and Luke still love to play is Peek-A-Boo. We play this every day at lunch time and dinner time as Mommy is getting their plates ready. It's a great time killer. The louder the scream at the end, the better.

Ella's got it all down pretty well.

Luke, still has a hard time covering his eyes. But, he's getting better.

These are some cute pictures that really show off their little personalities. Luke is a thinker and generally a little more mellow than Ella.

But he's such a happy boy too—a Daddy's boy for sure.

Ella is the princess and she lets everyone know it. She loves to squeal and scream and be dramatic in every way.

She loves to dance and twirl. And she is definitely a Mommy's girl. (Although, no picture to prove it right here. Sorry.)

In September, Luke got to ride a pony for the first time. I think he's on his way to becoming a real cowboy. I mean, what cowboy doesn't wear a Hawaiian shirt when he rides? Boots are out. Sandals are in. It's the new look in Western wear. Mommy taught him how to hold on to the saddle horn, as Daddy would have no clue.

He did pretty well, although seemed a bit nervous during the whole ride.

The pony was very docile. I think he was half asleep.

Ella and Luke got post cards from their Mimi (grandma) from out of state. Ella loved to "read" them over and over.

Although, she did wonder we she didn't get the pink kitty card. Thanks for sending them, Mimi. (Ignore the outfit, folks—it was a rough morning.)

Happy September!

HA I love Ella's little postcard readin' outfit. That pony was probably trying to fall asleep to get away from the reality of his horrible haircut. I love Luke's studious poses.

I love Luke's picture under the table. It's so adorable! I think Ella's outfit is an outfit Mimi would be proud of. Speaking about cowboy fashion, I have a picture of Nathan in shorts, a baseball helmet and cowboy boots.

I love that you play peek-a-boo as a time killer while you are getting the kiddos food. Such a good idea!!! So cute that Ella loves to read her post-card over and over again. And Luke looks like an old pro up on that horse.
